MISSION STATEMENT


We aim to serve simple, freshly prepared, high quality food and drinks in an atmosphere that is both welcoming and fun. The company’s goal is to be a financial success whilst giving customers top quality food and drink, respecting our suppliers and giving back to the community we are a part of.

Most importantly for the future of our business our aim is to create real career opportunities with great prospects which are sadly very rare in hospitality. We want to change this. This is part of our long term business plan. Season + Taste is a company that will reward long term employees with shares in the business and therefore much greater responsibility and shared ownership of a business that they work in. We believe our team should all be constantly training and progressing professionally and we support them in doing so.



Giving Back

At Season + Taste, we believe it is important to share our success and aid good causes. That is why, every year, we choose a charity to support, raising money for them through our business.

In 2015, we raised over £7000 for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), supporting the amazing work they do helping refugees, working in war zones and areas affected by natural disasters and coming to the aid of those most in need, around the world.

In 2016, we chose to support Penny Brohn UK, a Bristol based charity that helps people before, during and after cancer treatment. We are proud to have raised almost £10,000 for Penny Brohn, which will help people use a wide range of services provided by the charity, such as a Treatment Support Clinic and group or individual courses for those who have been recently diagnosed with cancer and are awaiting therapy or those who are currently going through cancer treatment.

During the month of February 2015 we raised £824 for the refugees in Lesvos.

Dani, a member of our team went to Lesvos for a week and used the money raised to buy food and disposable to give to the refugees that were getting the ferry to Athens and to serve breakfast at the Moria camp for over 1000 people.

This year, we are supporting the international charity Action Against Hunger. This charity does vital work to end malnourishment in children across the globe, working with communities to tackle the root causes of hunger, whilst also taking swift and immediate action in cases of global disasters, such as the drought in Ethopia in 2015.

Current Vacancies

Bravas is looking for two part time Kitchen Porters, each for 2-3 shifts a week. Ideal for students!

If you love food, people, and thrive in a busy environment – come and work at Bravas! We are part of a young, dynamic, forward-thinking hospitality group, independently run in Bristol. We own Bravas, Bakers + Co and CARGO Cantina. Each site is utterly unique in their food and drink profiles, and the inspiration behind them. All we ask of our staff is they work hard, and are nice to people!

We pride ourselves on serving top quality food and drink, in fun, relaxed atmospheres. Working in our kitchens is fun, fast paced and stimulating! We actively support our staff and enjoy bringing out the best in them. Whether that’s developing your knife skills or encouraging you to take a new course or gain more responsibility, we pride ourselves on developing our team.

In this role, your shift patterns will vary, and you will be asked to work during evenings and at weekends (we don’t open on Sunday’s, although on occasion you may be asked to work a private hire on a Sunday).

• Fixed hours stated in a permanent contract (no zero hour contracts)
• Staff discounts and vouchers to eat at Bravas, Bakers & Co or CARGO Cantina once every 6 months. 20% off total bill at all Season + Taste sites for up to three guests anytime.

Bravas is looking for a full time Senior or Sous Chef!

Weekends are booked out a month in advance, and our 40 cover restaurant generates countless fantastic reviews from very happy customers! Bravas is part of the Season + Taste hospitality group - a dynamic Bristol-based company, which is looking to open up to 2 new sites in the next year alone. We have Bakers & Co on Gloucester Road and CARGO Cantina at Wapping Wharf, and each site has their own unique personality and food and drink profile. Bravas are looking for a Senior or Sous Chef with a passion for working in a super busy and fast paced environment, with a love of great Spanish food and drink. The position is for 40-48 hours per week – shift patterns vary, and you will be asked to work during evenings and at weekends (we don’t open on Sunday’s, although on occasion you may be asked to work a private hire on a Sunday).

• Commitment to balancing professional and private life. Hours capped at 48 hours per week.
• An individual annual budget for external training.
• Paid transport, meals and, where necessary, accommodation to arranged supplier visits.
