MISSION STATEMENT


We aim to serve simple, freshly prepared, high quality food and drinks in an atmosphere that is both welcoming and fun. The company’s goal is to be a financial success whilst giving customers top quality food and drink, respecting our suppliers and giving back to the community we are a part of.

Most importantly for the future of our business our aim is to create real career opportunities with great prospects which are sadly very rare in hospitality. We want to change this. This is part of our long term business plan. Season + Taste is a company that will reward long term employees with shares in the business and therefore much greater responsibility and shared ownership of a business that they work in. We believe our team should all be constantly training and progressing professionally and we support them in doing so.



Giving Back

At Season + Taste, we believe it is important to share our success and aid good causes. That is why, every year, we choose a charity to support, raising money for them through our business.

In 2015, we raised over £7000 for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), supporting the amazing work they do helping refugees, working in war zones and areas affected by natural disasters and coming to the aid of those most in need, around the world.

In 2016, we chose to support Penny Brohn UK, a Bristol based charity that helps people before, during and after cancer treatment. We are proud to have raised almost £10,000 for Penny Brohn, which will help people use a wide range of services provided by the charity, such as a Treatment Support Clinic and group or individual courses for those who have been recently diagnosed with cancer and are awaiting therapy or those who are currently going through cancer treatment.

During the month of February 2015 we raised £824 for the refugees in Lesvos.

Dani, a member of our team went to Lesvos for a week and used the money raised to buy food and disposable to give to the refugees that were getting the ferry to Athens and to serve breakfast at the Moria camp for over 1000 people.

This year, we are supporting the international charity Action Against Hunger. This charity does vital work to end malnourishment in children across the globe, working with communities to tackle the root causes of hunger, whilst also taking swift and immediate action in cases of global disasters, such as the drought in Ethopia in 2015.

Current Vacancies

We are looking for a part time Kitchen Porter for 2-3 shifts a week. Ideal for a student!

If you love food, people, and thrive in a busy environment – come and work at Season + Taste! We are a young, dynamic, forward-thinking hospitality group, independently run in Bristol. We own Bravas, Bakers + Co and CARGO Cantina. Each site is utterly unique in their food and drink profiles, and the inspiration behind them. All we ask of our staff is they work hard, and are nice to people!

We pride ourselves on serving top quality food and drink, in fun, relaxed atmospheres. Working in our kitchens is fun, fast paced and stimulating! We actively support our staff and enjoy bringing out the best in them. Whether that’s developing your knife skills or encouraging you to take a new course or gain more responsibility, we pride ourselves on developing our team.

In this role, your shifts will vary, with a set Saturday day shift at Bakers + Co, and 1-2 shifts at CARGO Cantina.

CARGO Cantina is looking for a full time Senior Chef to join our brand new team!

CARGO Cantina is the latest venture from Bristol's Season + Taste hospitality group (parents to Bravas and Bakers & Co). Inspired by the street food of Mexico City, we’ve served thousands of happy customers in our first 5 months, and have received rave reviews in the local and national press.

We are dedicated to serving top quality, delicious tasting food. We don’t do second best – but love to keep our restaurant’s atmospheres relaxed and fun, in informal settings. We’re looking for committed, hard working and passionate individuals to represent this ethos. We love to see staff with drive and a real hunger to learn and develop.

This role has huge promotion potential! We are always interested in new menu ideas – and new restaurant ideas. We nurture our staff and want to develop their talents. Each member of our team has their own yearly training budget and we constantly develop our staff’s skills in house.

We are looking for a Senior Chef to work at CARGO Cantina. You need a passion for real cooking, an enjoyment of a busy, fast paced service and a love of exotic flavours. You also need to display strong leadership skills. Good with people? Know how to manage a team? Get in touch! The position will be approx. 45 hours a week across weekdays and weekends with Sundays off.

Bakers & Co are looking for a part time chef/ baker!

Bakers & Co is an award winning brunch café located on the vibrant Gloucester Road. We pride ourselves on creating beautiful food from scratch including our much loved sourdough, which is baked every morning in our deck oven.

Bakers & Co is part of Season + Taste - a dynamic hospitality company serving Bristol top quality food and drink in relaxed, fun atmospheres. We pride ourselves on nurturing talent and are constantly looking for ways to develop, and learn from, our team. We are looking for a part time chef / baker with a passion for real baking, an enjoyment of a busy, fast paced service, and a love of brunch, sourdough and great coffee. The position will be 15-24 hours a week across weekdays and weekends but no evenings.
